Kenneth JohnPEARCEIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth John Pearce, 81, after bravely fighting a short illness on Friday 6th July 2018 in Chesham Leys Care Home. He was born in Chesham on 25th November 1936 to Merty and Mabel Pearce. In 1972 he married Ann and had two children, Adrian and Karen. Ken started work at Pearces Hardware in Chesham in 1959 and together with his father owned until 1998. Post retirement, Ken kept active with numerous clubs and particularly enjoyed worshipping at Emmanuel Church. Ken is survived by his wife Ann, son Adrian, daughter Karen and grandchildren Jake, Millie, Richard and Owen. Cremation will be held at Amersham Crematorium at 10.15 on Tuesday 17th July. Mourners are requested to wear bright colours! Donations can be made to Dementia UK.
